I don’t even know where to start with this review. Unfortunately, 5 stars doesn’t even scratch the surface of how thankful I am for Elisa and Guadalupe.

I walked into Elisa’s office with my life falling apart around me and what felt like an uphill battle. From the very beginning, Elisa was personable, understanding, and realistic about my situation. Not once did she lose faith in me or make me feel like I was fighting it alone.

She guided me through an abnormal amount of litigation, including my CPO matter and modification action. She worked tirelessly to bring two courts from across the country together to sort out custodial issues, which is a feat in itself. Most importantly, she kept my child’s best interest at the front of every decision.

Guadalupe is an outstanding paralegal. During an emotionally tumultuous time, and through declaration after declaration, she was able to make sense of everything I was trying to explain and tune it up to perfection. That meant more than I can put into words.

I truly cannot recommend this office enough. Elisa and Guadalupe helped me through one of the hardest chapters of my life, and I will always be grateful for the work they did for me and my child.

I’ve never had experience with anyone in law until this office. These ladies are extraordinary. The front desk, Debbie, Allison. They made me feel safe, seen, heard, protected. Like a flock of mother hens. Truly, they are amazing. I don’t really have the proper words to describe their level of love and care. I cannot say enough good things about Elisa Cantu and the entire team at Chvatal King Cantu, including their outstanding paralegals. They have been there for me from the very beginning and through the end (and continuation) of the most hellacious, 6+ year prolonged divorce and even worse custody battle I never imagined I would find myself in.

From the start, the absolutely heinous actions of my ex-wife—actions that initially destroyed my world physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially—left me overwhelmed and broken. Elisa stepped in when I needed someone who could not only fight, but care. To this day, she continues to represent and guide me through a constant barrage of divorce and custody hearings that seem to never end due to an extremely toxic ex-spouse (and I’m being generous with that description).

A lot of attorneys talk a good game—but Elisa Cantu actually delivers. She takes the time to truly listen to her clients and, more importantly, genuinely cares about their needs—big or small—and about achieving the right outcome. Elisa and her team invest their time where it truly matters: planning, preparing, and executing in court. When it’s time to stand before a judge, she is ready.

Elisa maintains a consistent, professional, calm, and composed demeanor in and out of the courtroom. She is cool, collected, and confident—but don’t get it twisted. When the situation calls for it, she brings out the big guns and is absolutely prepared to fight. That balance makes her an adversary most attorneys do not want to tangle with (whether they admit it or not), and it is clearly respected by the judges—which you will notice when rulings consistently fall in your favor.

Elisa has taken care of me throughout an absolute nightmare of a divorce that my ex-wife has intentionally dragged out for over six years. If that doesn’t say something, I don’t know what does. Hire Elisa, listen to her, trust the process—the proof is in the pudding.
